A Southern California native, Dr. Wong graduated Summa cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Southern California and earned his medical degree from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD. He also studied engineering at Oxford University as a Rotary Foundation Scholar and medical physics at the University of Amsterdam.

Dr. Wong has completed fellowship training in facial plastic surgery at UC Irvine and is also board certified in Head and Neck Surgery – Otolaryngology. He is Professor and Director of the Division of Facial Plastic Surgery in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. His research interests are in the field of biomedical engineering with specific interests in medical device development and laser applications in medicine. Dr. Wong has over 100 publications, and his research is funded by the National Institutes of Health, Department of Defense, and the Health Science Partners.

Dr. Wong currently resides in Orange County, California.

I had a remarkable experience with Dr. Wong!

Dr. Wong is a great doctor and surgeon. He gets right to the point and he is very knowledgeable. I went to see him regarding my nose, which had been broken twice and screwed up by another plastic surgeon who tried to fix it. Dr. Wong gave me invaluable advice and guidance.

To make a long story short, I busted up my nose one weekend. Dr. Wong fixed it, I can breathe better now than before the accident. He straightened it out and it looks good. No attitude, just down to earth, nice guy.

He was the best doctor I've ever been to. Very kind, very careful. Made me feel and look great.

You can tell he really cares about and worries over his patients. Called a bunch, including nights and weekends after surgery and always made himself available. Definitely worth seeing to get an opinion.

Dr. Wong performed my cosmetic rhinoplasty back in 2016 and I am to this day so happy with my results. I had one rhinoplasty prior and I wasn’t completely satisfied with how it turned out. I was referred to Dr. Wong and I understand why! He spent so much time in surgery perfecting my nose, it came out exactly how I had envisioned it. Not only that but Dr. Wong called me every single day for 10 days to check in on me post recovery. Would definitely recommend.

Great staff, but brian was wildly unprepared. I think web md could provide a better diagnosis. I also encountered the insurance issue others had, in which he stated something was covered, and then I found out thru the bill it wasn't.

Check out the other bad reviews first. I made that mistake...and wow. Talk about insurance fraud....and milking money from people who are just trying to have a surgery...had to waste two hours on a video that he could have just sent a link to...and promised insurance would cover his ego talking for 2hours. Would never recommend him, and for anyone who wants surgery find someone who actually cares about his results rather than how much you can pay for his degree. Ending up finding a real doctor who cares...not this clown.

Went in to have my nose made smaller and he made it bigger and bent. Not kidding. It’s horrible. Have to wait to have another surgeon fix it.

Told me initially to zoom call him for consultation and my specific insurance will cover it, they didn’t and it cost me $1200.. The call consisted of him showing me a video of him speaking about the surgery (which he could of emailed me), showing patient before and afters for a revision rhinoplasty (which should’ve been on his website). It was a 2 hour zoom call that should of been max 30mins. Then he recommended I meet in his office and told me when I got there he doesn’t have the proper equipment in that office and to meet him another day in his other office. I then got charged $300 for the first in person visit this decided to not attend the second visit as he’s just trying to milk money out of me. He also has terrible bedside manner and is not kind at all!! 0/10 experience honestly.

Dr. Wong is an artist and physician. His hands are amazing! I highly recommend him to anyone who needs facial plastic surgery. I broke my nose and he took the time to explain to me my fracture and how he would fix it. He showed me a portfolio of his work and showed me how he would fix my nose using an app. He took the time to personally call me to check in. His credentials are amazing and his education and training are second to none. His education and interest in biomedical engineering makes him stand out from other surgeons because of his expertise in technology. I just got out of surgery and still have the bandages on my nose but I can already tell it looks beautiful and I am so excited and grateful to him for improving my self-confidence and for allowing me to breathe again. I can finally breathe through my nose!

Dr Wong is one of the best doctors I've ever been to. All you have to do is look at his credentials to know that you are in competent hands. Just seeing his accomplishments will tell you everything you need to know about his ambition for success and his expertise in medicine. I had to get an emergency procedure done for my nose and was worried I may not get the best quality care in such a short time but after talking to Dr Wong, and getting everything broken down to me by him, I had complete confidence I was in the right hands. My procedure was done without any issues and my nose is a good as normal now.

Dr. Wong was unusually thorough and confident in his examination of my nose and face following a bad fall. Most doctors there days look mostly at their screen and type throughout the visit, but Dr Wong spent all of his time examining me and asking pertinent questions. I really appreciated his attention. Even though I had to wait a good 45 minutes to see him, I felt that if he gives everyone the care he gave me, it was well worth it.
